Where to find khorium

Khorium Ore is the rare ore in the Outlands. This is a really great ore to farm because it is really valuable. A Khorium Bar can sell for 60 gold. Not a stack, a single bar! You will want to be level and have mining at level before trying to farm Khorium.

You will also collect a lot of Adamantite while farming Khorium, this sells well on the auction house too. Update: You can make a lot of gold with Khorium, but if you want to step it up and make thousands of gold you should read my personal favorite guide. In my experience, the best place to farm Khorium is in Nagrand. I do well in Sunwell Isle, probably because no one else goes there.

If your Sunwell isle is not lucky for you, try the Shadowmoon Valley Outland route. You can also sell Khorium Scopes and Khorium Cores which are engineering parts and used for further crafting. Notice the little! It means all sorts of things, but to us as goldmakers it signals GOLD. This is a price that is volatile and fluctuates wildly. Word is blizzard replaced their nodes with fel iron and adamantium in order to help the massive demand for skill ups. Expect to see it in the next couple days.

Comment by At first launch there were Khorium Veins in the Game, they have since disappeared. They are back in the game; though I don't yet know how rare they are since they have returned Comment by Well, due to laws of economics which I don't understand, Khorium is now much cheaper than Throrium on my server gnomeregan - alliance and is close to the price of Mithril Comment by Something that I have noticed that continues to bother me about khorium is the fact that it sells for less than Eternium wich just makes no sense because anyone who has mined adamantite ore for any period of time knows that the eternium rate in adamantite nodes is far greater than the odds of you finding a khorium node in the path of your favorite mining routes.

I'm also not basing this selling average on just wowhead Comment by The trainer to smelt Khorium is in Honor Hold. The Ironforge trainer can't do it.

Comment by Allakhazam Here's a little advice from me. I spend about 14 hours grinding in the same spot with my mage it so happened that a hunter came a long and started mining some adamantite in the same area i was grinding.

Then i figured Comment by Allakhazam It's a rare spawn, expect to see one for every nodes of other ore out there, so adamantite should respawn as this vein every once in a while. Requires mining level to mine it, cannot be prospected as it's green Magic and is basically the endgame material which can be mined : Happy hunting.

Comment by Allakhazam i cant find this khorium ore. Comment by Allakhazam These veins take mining to mine. Khorium, like silver or gold ore, replaces a current node of all Outlands ore.

Comment by Allakhazam This ore is just like all the other rare ore veins out there. Silver, Gold, etc. So if you find a good spot to mine adamantite stay in that area and you will get one of these nodes to spawn.

Comment by Allakhazam How do you smelt it? Comment by Allakhazam Spread out through Outlands, you just have to be patience and keep looking around the whole area. Comment by Thottbot Does any1 know a good place to farm this? Comment by Thottbot They can be found almost anywhere, but the problem is that they are quite rare and that is why there is no specific "good" place to farm these. In my opinion it is more a matter of luck if you find it, but keep flying around mining everything you see in outland and eventually it will turn up.

Comment by Thottbot it Spawns on Fel iron and adamantite locations. Comment by Thottbot but ive gone through level mining in outlnds and i only saw a few veins of these in nagrand. Comment by Thottbot I'm a miner, who makes regular runs through the Blade's Edge Mountains to include the Northern and Western areas only accesible by flight.
